Repair Drywall
Repair of drywall is needed for a number of reasons. Perhaps a plumber, electrician or contractor
cut holes or moved walls as a necessary part of their
work. Repairing drywall may be the unfortunate result of water damage or fire damage. Or a hole
in the drywall was caused by moving furniture, rambunctious children or interior design projects. Accidents happen.
The photo at left is an example of drywall water damage and mold. Drywall can soak up water like a sponge. The wet drywall must be cut out and the area allowed to dry for a few days before we can begin the patchwork and texturing.
Wall repair, ceiling repair and patching drywall, whatever the cause, is a frequent service request at Welk and Sons Drywall. Most repair of drywall can be completed within a day or two.
